Frequently Asked Questions
How does our door-to-door knife sharpening service work?
-
YouTube Video of our process
- Scheduling: When you make a request through our online website we will contact you to confirm and finalize exact date/time based on your pick-up location. We are not in every location daily. We work with you to either provide next day or often same day turn around so you don’t go without your knives.
- Sharpening: Your knives are carefully inspected by our expert sharpeners.
- Using commercial sharpening equipment, wet process grinding stone, we sharpen each knife with precision and attention to detail. We use a special jig to control the angle of the polish edge accurately. We then polish with leather honing wheel with compound paste of 8000grit polish.
- We sharpen knives to their optimal sharpness while preserving their integrity and longevity of your knives.
- We typically sharpen stainless steels knives to 20 deg and for Japanese high carbon edges to 16 deg.
- We also sharpen serrated knives and do those by hand to ensure sharpness and longevity.
- Return Delivery: Once your knives have been sharpened, they are cleaned and packaged.
- Our driver will then deliver your sharpened knives back to your doorstep, ready to be put to use in your kitchen.
- Quality Assurance: Throughout the sharpening process, we maintain strict quality control measures to ensure consistent and exceptional results.
- Our team is committed to delivering sharpened knives that meet our high standards and exceed your expectations.
- We do not free hand, instead use controlled angled fixture which ensures controlled angler and uniformity of the bevel across the bevel.

- CLEAN YOUR KNIVES
Ensure your knives are clean and dry before packing. This helps maintain blade integrity and ensures safe handling during transit. - PACK AND SEAL THE BOX
Use the provided newspaper from your Rejuvenated mailing kit. Wrap each knife securely with rubber bands and reserve some newspaper for padding. Line the bottom of the box with crumpled newspaper for padding. Place wrapped knives inside, add padding on top, and seal the box securely with the adhesive strip. Ensure all blades are wrapped—no exposed edges, please. -
